In the short term this moves birds into the area I hunt, but in the long term this threatens a legacy of waterfowl and will damage the pacific flyway to a point we have never seen. 80% of all the waterfowl in the flyway use the Basin, if it's gone the flyaway will diminish. and help by supporting California Waterfowl, Ducks Unlimited, and Delta Waterfowl. Also call your political representatives and let them know how important this basin is to the west and you. If you are anywhere in the pacific flyway, and love ducks, this will affect you!
